The Open Source Backup Conference on Bareos (former Bacula Conference) is the ideal platform to keep up to date with the latest trends and developments on open source backup, especially with Bareos. For beginners and experienced administrators, the two-day conference held in English language offers a broad range of topics and is an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with other members of the community. In addition to the presentations taking place on September 30th, hands-on workshops will be offered at no extra charge on the day before.
Among the speakers this year is Philipp Storz. As one of the minds of the Bareos Project, his talk will deal with the backup of VMware snapshots with Bareos. Furthermore, speakers like Niels de Vos (Red Hat), Alberto Giménez (CAPSiDE), Marco Weiss (Kessler GmbH) and Daniel Neuberger (dass IT GmbH) will be there, too. The full program is accessible at the conference website: http://osbconf.org
The limited packages Gold (with overnight stay) and Silver (without overnight stay) contain the access to all talks, catering on both conference days, the participation in the evening event as well as free WLAN access during the event. The participation in one of the offered workshops is also included in the ticket price.
